Jean-Rene Badrick, at only 17, is the youngest Brit ever selected for a Senior World Championships.
His first contest was against Flores (USA) who he defeated twice in the final of the 2006 US Open and at the British Open in early 2007.
However this time, although JR took an early Yuko lead, he was caught and thrown for Ippon with 1min 36sec left on the clock.
This was a fantastic experience for one so young and will be used as a platform to build on for future success.
