After receiving a bye in rounds 1 & 2 Ashley McKenzie then won in round 3, against Siccardi of Monacco. Ashley then lost against the eventual bronze medallist, Papinashvili of Georgia.

Tom Davis competed in this European ranking event. He won his first 2 contests against the Colombian and French fighters, but then lost out to the Japanese competitor.

Ashley McKenzie was again selected to represent Great Britain at this challenging International ranking event. Ashley won his first contest against Kunihiro of the USA but then lost out to Takato of Japan before the quarter finals.
